On Friday during proceedings in the Casey Anthony trial she may have shown her true colors for the first time during her trial.  While the attorneys were in a side-bar discussion, Anthony obviously was not happy with something her attorney Cheney Mason was saying or not saying.  At one point during the conference she lashed out in an explosive fit of anger and then she quickly collected herself when she realized the cameras were on her.  Keep in mind as this Anthony explosion was occuring the jury was sitting just feet away watching this entire circus unfold.   The face that Casey Anthony exhibited during that one brief moment was the face of evil.

It is said that the eyes are the windows to ones soul (Matthew 6:22-23).   On Friday, looking into the eyes of Casey Anthony, it was clear that she is without a soul and it was chilling to think that the face shown by Anthony may have been the last face little Caylee Anthony saw before her death.   If the jury saw what Casey Anthony did and the expressions on her face and in her eyes, there will be nothing that she can do to save herself now, she will be convicted.  I suspect the prosecutors always have known, as weak as their case against Casey Anthony is, that she will ultimately convict herself, one way or another.    It appears now, that the face of evil shown by Casey Anthony on Friday, will be the one moment that seals her fate.  Perhaps it is fitting that the face of Anthony herself ultimately is her undoing.
