Danny O'Keefe is a great song writer, but he is best known for his hit single Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues.   I remember as a kid seeing Danny playing around the coffee shops in Minneapolis and then quite a few years later I showed up at the Antique Sandwich Shop in Tacoma, Washington to play open mic night and who showed up but Danny O'Keefe.  Talking to him after the show I learned he had moved out to Vashon Island in Washington State and was doing more song writing than anything else.  Great musician.
